Crawling, Our Trip, and Family Bonding

Again, it's been awhile since I posted...

First, our boy is crawling- not on all fours yet, but it seems he's mastered the army crawl. He continues to grow before our very eyes and I already have him out in the yard with the soccer ball. Below are a couple of my favorites pics of him from this past weekend.

As for my birthday trip to Charleston, SC- we had a fabulous time. Adam took care of every last detail from our transportation to some fabulous dinners in downtown Charleston. We actually stayed on the Isle of Palms, a vacation destination about 30 minutes outside the city. It was absolutely perfect. We took long walks on the beach, laid around and read books, slept in (something that felt divine since we don't ever get to do it at home), played tennis, looked for shells, and ate tons of great local seafood. I really couldn't have asked for a better getaway and Adam and I both came home feeling refreshed and relaxed. Here are just a couple of photos. We really didn't take as many as we thought. We were too busy enjoying the peace and quiet.

Other than our vacation, we have been laying low doing family "stuff." This past weekend, we took the kids to the apple orchard to pick apples and go on a tractor ride. After getting there and realizing that we had forgotten our cash/credit cards and camera we didn't get any photo opportunities. We had a great time though and came home and made some homemade applesauce.

Another week ahead of us,

Kate
