IT'S A BOY!!!

Our Christmas gift arrived three weeks early as God blessed our family with a baby boy last night. Mac Thomas Wright was born at 8:42pm on Monday, November 30th. Despite being three weeks early, Mac was the largest of our babies weighing in at 7 lbs, 11oz. and is almost 21 inches long. Pictures will follow soon, but he does have strawberry blonde hair just like Daddy & Brady and we think he's a doll.

Katie did wonderfully and got to experience a completely different labor than the first two kids. After her regular doctor's appointment at 9am the doctor sent her into the hospital and I met her here shortly after. Needless to say it was a long day for Katie as she labored until the evening. She was a champ though and when it came time to push, the little man was out in less than 5 minutes. She is enamored with her new little man (as any good mom should be) and secretly hoping that he is the cuddler she's been waiting for!

Unfortunately due to the H1N1 stuff going around, the hospital doesn't allow anyone under 18 to visit new babies. We'll be home soon enough and are hopeful that it's a fun transition to have everyone together and that Avery is not too bummed that she didn't get a new baby sister.

If a picture's worth 1,000 words...

then a video's gotta be good for three or four thousand, right? In our inability to blog deep thoughts or even post recent pictures, I thought I would share a couple videos from tonight to make up for it. Avery started pre-school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but this week on Wednesday she had some special "girl time" with Mommy and few friends as they went downtown to see a Princess Puppet Show of Sleeping Beauty and then out for lunch. She all of the sudden decides to be shy on the video.



Out of nowhere tonight, Brady shared with us his latest trick. He's quite impressed and so were we. Our little man is quickly becoming not so little anymore. Getting ready to be a big brother I guess. We are definitely blessed! -Adam

Something That Made Me Smile

I know I haven't blogged in AGES.... I'll blame it on my pregnancy, but really it has been a million things. But, I did get an email that made me smile for the first in the day yesterday and has prompted me to blog.... a link to some family photos we had taken by a friend of ours from high school who is absolutely talented beyond words.

Yes, they are of our kids and I hate to be "that mom" that is always slapping photos up of my kids looking for an "aren't they soooo adorable" response. But I just have to. The pics are too good. :)
