We had a guest speaker today at church- his name- Sizewe Mthembu. He lives and works in South Africa fighting tirelessly against the many terrors that have gripped his home and his people- HIV/AIDS, poverty, murder, heinous crimes against women, etc. He was with us to share his perspective and his hope about global poverty and disease. Needless to say, his words were moving. More powerful, however, than his words, the collective worship that followed- a congregation who again realized our need for a Savior and a Healer. He closed his presentation with this song....
